Kiki asked me to pose for this picture. She thought it would be funny to write, “This is how you feel when you walk a long way only to find out the ferry is closed.” But I pointed out that it would be misleading to write that, because the ferry had just left as we were walking down the hill. My blog should not be filled with fake news.

I am actually happy the ferry had just left, otherwise Kiki might have suggested a ride. I remain skeptical about water. When Kiki tries to get me to follow her down on the dock, I resist.
